We are thrilled to have been approved for funding from the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Insitute for our project, "Developing Novel Artificial Intelligence Methods To Improve Clinical Trial Education". This support will enable us to understant patient and clincian trialists' perspectives on using AI for informed consent, develop ethically-aligned LLMs for consent, and test an LLM-enabled informed consent interface for cancer clinical trials.
This project is a multi-institional collaboration with Loyola University Chicago and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, as well as patient advocates who will ensure that our research continues to place patients at the center of the health AI conversation!
