Hello, my name is David Chen. I am a medical student at the University of Toronto with an interdisciplinary background in cancer bioinformatics, clinical epidemiology, and evidence-based medicine.
My current research focuses on developing safe, robust, and generalizable patient- and clinician-facing tools using large language models and multimodal AI systems. I am particularly interested in the intersection of precision medicine and artificial intelligence as well as leveraging computational methods to improve both the design and quality assurance of evidence-based medicine.
