Hi! I'm Irith, and I am a Master's student in the Biomedical Informatics program at Harvard Medical School, with a Bachelor's in Computer Science from the University of Southern California. I am passionate about the intersection of artificial intelligence and healthcare, and have an interdisciplinary background in deep learning, NLP, multimodal learning, and EHR data analysis. My goal is to leverage machine learning to improve the quality of care for patients and aid physicians in clinical decision making. I am currently completing my thesis under the mentorship of Dr. Danielle Bitterman and Yuansheng Zhang, where I am contributing to the development of a multimodal system to detect adverse events in patients undergoing cancer immunotherapy. Outside of the lab, I am an avid hip hop dancer and movie watcher.
