Hi, I’m John, a resident in the Harvard Radiation Oncology Program. My current research focuses on applying Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs) to improve patient communication, informed consent. I am particularly interested in building safe, interpretable, and clinically grounded NLP tools that enhance patient understanding and support patient decision-making. I am also interested in machine translation, allowing for high-quality medical information accessible to patients across language barriers.
