Hi, I'm Zidu (Miranda) Xu, a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the AI in Medicine program at Mass General Brigham and Harvard Medical School. With an interdisciplinary background spanning both clinical and informatics, my research is deeply rooted in solving real-world healthcare challenges.
My current work focuses on using Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance clinical trial recruitment and create interactive patient education tools. During my PhD at Columbia University, I developed a resource-efficient AI pipeline for infection surveillance in decentralized healthcare settings such as home healthcare. I am passionate about building clinically effective tools by translating complex data into interpretable and actionable insights that empower clinicians and improve patient outcomes.
