Ramez Kouzy, MD

Hello, I'm Ramez, a radiation oncology resident at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where I combine my clinical expertise with a deep interest in artificial intelligence and digital health innovation. My background spans clinical medicine and data science, with particular expertise in AI applications for oncology and clinical trial design. My research is deeply rooted in patient-centered issues, and as part of my research year I'm working closely with the Bitterman lab to explore AI-drive solutions. My current work focuses on exploring how artificial intelligence, particularly large language models and natural language processing, can transform cancer care. I am passionate about developing AI-driven solutions that bridge the gap between complex clinical data and practical patient care, with a special focus on improving patient engagement and addressing medical misinformation. Through my research and clinical work, I strive to advance the integration of AI technologies in oncology while ensuring they remain centered on enhancing patient care and outcomes.
